This Privacy Policy describes how SpotlightIQ, LLC ("SpotlightIQ," "we") collects, uses, and shares information. It applies to visitors of our public marketing website (the "Site") as well as to registered customers of our advertising platform (the "Services"). This Policy is divided into two parts:

  • Ad Services Information: Data we process on behalf of our customers to deliver and measure advertising campaigns.

Part II: Ad Services Information
 

4. Information Processed Through Our Advertising Services


When we deliver advertisements to end-users on behalf of our customers, we collect certain information about the device and the ad served, including:

  • Device Identifiers (e.g., Roku ID, IDFA, Google Advertising ID).

  • IP Address.

  • User Agent Information (device model, OS).

  • General Location Data (city, zip code).

  • Ad Interaction Data.

 

In the future, as we expand our services to include other formats like Online Video (OLV), this may also include data from browser cookies and mobile advertising identifiers.
 

5. Information Collected Through Pixels and Measurement Services


Where our Customers choose to install them on their own websites, we also process information collected via the SpotlightIQ measurement pixel. This allows our Customers to measure the effectiveness of their ad campaigns by tracking actions on their websites. The information collected by the pixel includes:
 

  • Online Identifiers: Cookie IDs and IP addresses.

  • User Agent Information: Browser type, device type, and operating system.

  • Website Activity: Pages viewed, products purchased, forms submitted, and other interactions on the Customer's website.

 

Our Customers are responsible for providing notice and obtaining any necessary consent for the use of this pixel on their websites.

 

6. How We Use Ad Services Information

 

  • To deliver and target advertisements on behalf of our customers.

  • To measure campaign performance and for reporting.

  • For frequency capping (to avoid showing an ad too many times).

  • For security and to prevent fraudulent ad traffic.

 

Part III: General Privacy Provisions
 

7. How We Share and Disclose Information
 

  • Access by SpotlightIQ Personnel: Our authorized employees may access your information to provide support, with access restricted on a need-to-know basis.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and ad delivery partners.

  • With AI Platforms: Some features are supported by third-party AI Platforms. We may send campaign data to these platforms to generate insights. Future features may allow you to send data to generate ad content. We have agreements in place that restrict these platforms from using your data to train their models.

  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law.

 

8. Data Security and Retention

 

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. We retain your information for as long as your account is active and will delete uploaded data upon account termination as required by law.

 

9. Your Privacy Rights

 

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access or delete your data under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Please contact us to exercise your rights.

 

10. Children's Privacy

 

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
